Hotel Parc Belair "l'Annexe" in Luxembourg
During the transformation of the house next to the Hotel Parc Belair in Luxembourg, which acts as an annex to the hotel, the Goeres group decided to add a dining room on the ground floor so guests could enjoy the garden during the summer.
Ex & Co, who was in charge of the transformation, asked me to design the extension in order to decorate the whole in keeping with the architecture of the house that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.
The decision to use the neoclassical style for this project was necessary to allow natural lighting into the interior of the existing building. It was important to look after the details and the execution because the annex was visible from the Belair Park, which runs along the back of the hotel and connects to the center of Luxembourg City.
